Were you there? 3 new Foster families found Alhamdulillah!

Asalamu alaikum all!

THANK YOU for coming out our first Muslim Townhall Saturday! Running slightly behind schedule we started at 6:30 and kept going nearly an hour and half beyond our scheduled end time of 9pm ("Alright folks we were suppose to be out of here 15 minutes ago" - It was 10:15!).

It was just what we wanted Alhamdulillah, a gathering of like-minded individuals looking to make our community stronger, our city the greatest place to live. An event of inspiring dialogue, heartfelt advocacy and great connecting of ideas.

A special shout out goes to the three Muslim Families who signed up to be foster parents inshaAllah. We hope to conduct a workshop for them and others on how to become a foster parent. Can't wait to see what other workshops and solutions come out of this event.

JazakAllaukhair to you, the attendee for bringing your voice

and a BIG JazakAllahukhair goes to out to our panelists.
